Don’t understand

Have had these cabelas boot foot hip boots since maybe 2010. Recently patched. They are the most comfortable things I have worn fishing. And the top slides down. Purchased them in bargain cave and now after I cannot find.

Have the attached Chota fold down hippers. Amazing. And those wading “shoes”. With felt bottoms and put studs in them.

Another amazing.

Cannot find anything near them today. As far as comfort and not having to endlessly having to lace up burdensome boots and waders.

What can’t someone make wading “shoes” to slip on instead of lace up boots??

These things are so easy to put on. And take off.

If they are not broke why not keep using them ? I have a set of "slightly" used caddis boots that I should have probably trashed 6 seasons ago after all the eyelets rusted out from salt water but I punched them with an awe and bought some Amazon laces and they still work just fine . I lace around the ankle and never had an issue with them coming undone.

The shoes are approaching end of useful life.

I use the wading “shoes”with a new pair of nice orvis waist high waders when fishing larger streams. I don’t tread in over my waist on larger streams and do mostly small stream fishing.. Nothing to tie or struggle to put on. They just slip on. Don’t like any lace up “boots”. Find them entirely uncomfortable and a pain.

Just think there is a market here that is being missed.

I bought a pair of Simms Pursuit shoes but the rubber sole is soft and the screw in cleats came out. Good thing I bought the grip studs in bulk used for dirt bikes instead of Orvis cleats.

I love those cabelas hip boots. So comfortable. And they fold down. Now you can’t find anything close to that. They cinch up at the top of your thigh. Same as those chota hippers.

I’m all for comfort. Why make yourself miserable in waders and boots when you don’t have to? And convenience. Can take them on and off in no time.

maybe I have missed a manufacturer here of something I am looking for. If so. Please let me know. That is for the replies.
