Great day air temp 50 degrees, water temp? Slightly high water and a bit dirty, you could see clouds of fine sediment in the water.
Caught about half a dozen and missed a few on black wooly bugger, flashback pheasant tail, and san juan worm. Two decent fish about 12", others 7-10".
I wear camo, 3 guys walked in on me, never saw me on the edge of the creek. I watched them come, the first guys eyes got as big as saucers, I didn't see any licenses. They definitely weren't the type I usually run into there, just "you catching any". No idle chit chat what pattern etc.. They seemed to leave just as fast as they came spinning rods in hand. That is not a hit on spin fishermen either. Awhile back I talked to one who said he was doing well with a white roostertail, so I tried a white streamer, made my day. 🙂

flyman,
i was there early yesterday morning working the sawmill area and above. pulled two 13-14 " stripping a black bugger, the dead drift has been working well lately with the bugger but not with yesterdays dirty water. with this extra daylight im gonna hit it teusday hoping for some clean water :-D

Daren,
Sunday I was fishing the area below the pull-off beside the RR tracks. How did you do Tuesday?
Flyman

I fished the TT section Tuesday from the bridge at the Sawmill up past the railroad bridge. Water temp was 43 and the creek is still off color.
Saw a bunch of really small BWO's coming off when I got to the creek but only saw one fish rise.
Fished from 10-2, hooked and lost one. Great day to be on the water,70 degrees! Now there's 7 inches on snow on the ground.

Flyman,
i got to the creek late on teusday but did pull one of those little 7-8" er's below brown rd. that and the sawmill area is generally where i tend to concentrate. never really tried the section you hit sunday, must be good though cuz there is always a vehicle parked there :-D

john,
i was wondering if you had been there lately! did you tie up and try some of those scuds  ?

Daren, I decided to just buy the scuds. With my discount, I pay .75 each for them at Gander, so... I'm still tying all of my dries and most nymphs. I'll be at the creek Sunday, it's my birthday so I'll be spending most, if not all of the day on the water.
