Got out to the West Branch of Codorus Creek yesterday ~4-7 PM for the second time this fall. Saw a couple of trout breaking the surface during what looked like a hatch of very small size 22 flies with a white and black body. A few caddis were flying around as well.

Managed to pick up a 7-8" Brown on a stimulator, I love the red tips that these trout have on their fins.

This is the first report that I have ever heard on this board, in private, via telephone, via letter in the old days, or from a WCO regarding fishing in the West Branch. The West Branch is short above Lake Marburg and even shorter below...about a quarter mile of trout water from Lake Marburg to its confluence with Codorus Ck.

my guess is he was on the Trophy Trout Section of the Codorus. A common mistake in the nomenclature.

My apologies on the misnomer, I'm fairly new to the area and this forum.

Maurice is correct, feel free to change the posting title if desired.

No probs brooky, and thanks for posting the report.
