My buddy and I hit the Codorus this morning for a few hours. Fished from 8:30am till about 1. I caught 6 browns, 5-12" all on a #18 green scud. Only saw one or two fish rise . Another gentleman that was fishing near us picked up a few on a submerged ant pattern.
The creek was in great shape today, running about normal flow and cold, I'd guess around 55-58.

I fish the Codorus every now and then and was just wondering what section you were referring to as the Porters Sidling area? Do you mean the first pull off along the railroad tracks after you leave Porters Sidling?

I refer to the Porters area as the stretch from the twin bridges behind the Porters fire company upstream to the discharge. It's the special regs area. When I first started fishing there 15+ years ago, that's the way it was introduced to me and I've just continued to call it that.
There are several spots along the creek with local names, Twin Bridges, Tractor Crossing, The Steps, The Tank, Sawmill, etc. I mostly contain my fishing to the area from just below the tractor crossing to up above the sawmill, but there is good fishing (normally) along the entire stretch.
