Temp mid fifties. Water was beautiful, clear, flow was good, maybe a couple inches above normal. Started fishing at 11.00 am below the pull off beside the RR tracks. Used alot of stuff no takes. I was anticipating some Hendericksons in the afternoon so I was fishing an Olive Hares ear and a Pheasant tail nymph prior to the hatch. Nothing hit. I probably should have tried a standard natural hares ear, found that out after I got home and checked a couple books. About 3:00 some flies started to come off I think they were Hendricksons, but them seemed darker, maybe Quill Gordons? I used a Thorax Henderson #16 picked up 2 and missed 3. One fish was about 10" and a jumper. A good day to be out. :-D

if you saw hendricksons or quills on the Codorus things are better then a lot of us expected. 10 years ago, that stream had a great Quill hatch. Then they just all went away.
Hope you're right in what you saw, that would be wonderful to have those hatches back.
