Fished from 1:30 till 4:00, at the sawmill area, water 57, a bit more color then last week. Did see about a dozen light colored midges, plenty of rising fish, to what I dont know!

All fish were caught with a orange ant, landed 7 or 8, things were going well untill I lost a fly in a tree, an then disaster struck. while tying on another fly I dropped a whole compartment full of orange ants in the stream, only could save two :-x .

From now on only carry a few flies in each compartment!

Ouch. Paul, for compartment boxes, try cutting up a thin magnetic refrigerator magnet into squares and gluing it to the bottom of each compartment. TMC hook packs use a similar thing. You may actually be the first to find a good use for a P-burgh Pirate refrigerator magnet schedule.

Looks like your out there quite a bit. Good for you - bad for the fish!

That is a great idea, I'll do that today! I have a bunch of them laying around, just no Pirate ones.

Forgot to say in my report that I caught 2 stream bred, beautiful colors, should have had my camera!
