It means he caught 3 wild brown trout. 3 brown trout not from a hatchery. He is using the term invasive on purpose to really drive home the fact that brown trout are indeed invasive and it is following in step with all of the other posts regarding PFBC regulations, the potential advancement of brook trout specific regulations and protections, etc, etc.
So, while he is right and brown trout are invasive, it is mostly used in this context as a tool to help drive an outcome......
Am I right?

Absolutely, you nailed it. We are used to invasive lantern flies not wild lantern flies. Using the same level of accurate unbiased descriptive terminology will be critical to having Pa ever stop stocking them where they shouldn’t. And Jifigz knows as do many I do bot hate brown trout their good lookin fish from a fishing standpoint and i chase em all the time.

There'll be nothing left except for shad, suckers, fallfish, and the occasional 60-pound striped bass cleaning house on the Junction pool.

Time and time again, our favorite wild in invasive brown trout streams aren’t going anywhere but we shiuld consider not dumping more of them from hatcheries on native fish and reclaiming some Streams with the CFS of when you take a whiz

Much agreed, I took my dad to clarks wed night. Hes older and has a hernia to boot so we just stuck around the Appalachian trail parking lot and water was still up. I saw some fish rising in the bend pool 2 holes upstream from Bridge. Didn’t know what they were eating. Didnt see much of a hatch assumed caddis or midges. Does natone know if a reliable harch chart for clarks?
I don't know of a reliable hatch chart for any stream. They're all rubbish.. Just like "stream reports" posted on many fly fishing websites. I'm not talking about stream reports by us, but on TCO, Orvis, etc. All rubbish generic regurgitated garbage.

They were probably bugs, maybe flatwing bugs or maybe upright winged bugs, but bugs nonetheless. 😉
Twenty years ago I could tell you reliably that I fished Hendrickson's, March Browns/Grey Foxes, and then Sulphur's on Clarks as the season progressed. I don't think the bugs have changed much, only their timing has changed.

Fished it again yesterday in the same area, bait guys were catching fish still. Sporadic rises , caught a couple. Fished with a deputy warden Wednesday who told me the numbers put in there, that higher water will keep that area productive for a month, alot of fish got moved

I am wondering if that high water is going to continue through the sulfurs or if we will get a nice shot at some lower flows that make it less work to shoot up to the surface to take a dry fly more frequently for those fish because yea same story for me. A few sporadic rises but no repetitive sippers at dark in the tail-outs. Also did not see alot of bugs wonder if they have not popped yet on clarks

You ever get any wild native brook trout below Dresden lake? I fish above and their in and above I just never went lower
Only native I caught today but I caught a bunch of your beloved stocked brown trout

Thats a good looking fall fish though!
I had to look where dresden lake was , I've never fished that area . I fish stony at the lower gate , 2 miles up and maybe 2 miles down. In terms of wild/native trout stony produces very few for me if any, some browns might be wild. I catch more wild/native trout on manada then clarks or stony
