Headed up and fished a section of Clarks today. Water was high, over the banks in many places with some of the hemlocks along the bank submerged.

It was cold !!! It actually felt like a late November day. I swear I saw a few snowflakes. Temp was right around 40 degrees. Saw a few risers but ultimately ended the day landing a few browns on a clouser minnow. Two of which were wild.

Although the water was high, it looked great as usual.

Only saw one other angler fishing the area i was in. Came across a wild cat that may have been either poisoned or rabid. Not sure.

P.s. dont mind my file names for pics below. They all say awesome, its just the name of the editing app I use to downsize and edit photos. Awesome miniature.

Please post pictures of the wild cat.

Also fished today at Clark's. It was COLD! water looked good, but I only managed one refusal and a hit on my indicator. The bait guys nearby did not seem to be doing any better. The flow was really high, which made finding suitable places to fish and cast a challenge. Such a beautiful stream, but always gives me fits.

By wild cat I mean feral. I dont know where it would have come from. There's no house within miles of the area. It is either wild or an unfortunate, unwanted pet. I got close. Close enough to see it's pupils were dilating. Cat was slow and not exactly very keen to its surroundings. Could have been starved, not sure. Cat was not having a great day. I did see it again walking downstream.

Clarks always gives me fits. I like to fish it from the bank with no waders so I have to roll cast a lot. Problem is there overhangin' branches everywhere. I brought my 2 weight not thinking it was going to be that high. I had a lot of snags today. Had a lot of missed strikes too. Somehow I managed to lob a clouser around well enough to find fish.
