Caught a bunch of fish on Clarks today. Took fish on black stone size 16 and tan caddis size 14 and some on caddis nymph dropper. I also caught a small picker about 12" on a caddis nymph. First time I caw a pickerel on Clarks. That was a suprise.

Salmo,

Since you are close by and fish Clark's often, any input on the water level after the rains? I am thinking of heading out there tomorrow but wasn't sure if it was blown out.

Clarks usually fishes better than most streams after a hard rain. Especially just below the Dehart dam where the water doesnt fluctuate so much.

Yea should be up a little but clear. Takes a lot to get it chocolate. Whatever day you decide send me a pm n I'll run by it for ya.

Laurel you aren't Darrel from the newb jam are ya

I haven't been up this week because the weather has been so crappie. But as has been mentioned, Clarks is better than a lot of streams for clearing up after a rain.

report from Clarks Creek veteran yesterday - out of banks in places, water coming over top of dam, clarity poor but not muddy,

I was at the Newbie Jam this year, but my name's Jim. I didn't fish with anyone on the Lil' Lehigh this year, as I had my nephew with me trying to pass on a little knowledge to him. Much like today's trip to Clark's we got skunked then too.

I always forget what a challenge Clark's is to cast. The hemlocks are beautiful, but it sure does help you practice your roll cast. 🙂
