Finally upgraded from my neoprene chest waders to a fine pair of breathables a few weeks ago when at Penns for the Drakes. I will tell you they are a life saver. They are going to allow me to do alot more fishing in the upcoming warmer months. Anyways onto the reports.
6/11 Headed up to Clarks on my way home from work and fished from 5-9. Did not see anything coming off the surface and after trying an array of flies, had a good deal of success on a #18 BWO. Water is clear and cold.
6/15 Got out after work again and caught a dozen on the same BWO. Same water conditions.
6/17 Headed out with the old man on Sunday evening for Fathers Day. Caught a few on green weenie, few on green caddis, few on tan caddis, handful on a hopper and a couple more on BWO. Ended up with around 10. It was a little warm to start the evening but turned out to be a beautiful night.
P.S. I did not see any rattlers this week.
