Fished the gun range, from 11:00 to 2:30, water was low and clear and a coool 57 when I started. Had a good day landed 11 with a bunch of missed fish. All fish were caught with a # 18 Bi Vis, one of my all time favorte flies, especially on Clarks, that I haven't used for a long time, and I don't know why. Still plenty of fish around, good many risers, to something small.

What size tippet were you using?

Don't feel to bad, that was your first time there, I've been fishing clarks since I was around 12, Im now 65!

I did something yesterday I don't usually do, I went to 6x tippet, I don't usually go below 5x, maybe I should do it more often. I just lose to many fish and flies, I was lucky yesterday I didn't get any big fish, so I got them in and off the hook pretty fast.

If you ever get back, email me and If I can I'll meet you, maybe I can help you catch some fish! Clarks valley is a great place!
