Was planning to hit the Dauphin narrows but the gusty wind changed my mind. Clarks was my plan B. Bad timing since the fall stocking was scheduled for the following day.
I fished the downstream end of the FFO section right up to the posted signs.

Water was clear and low
Mostly sunny with some wind gusts
Very little surface activity with a few caddis in the air and one lone sulphur that flew into the side of my head. The leaves are starting to the fall now and the wind seemed to be helping that process. It wasn’t too bad yet.
Brought 6 fish to hand all on a buggy nymph - 4 wild brook in the 4-5” range and 2 browns 6-8”. On previous trips I remember seeing more fish in the slack water just cruising. Not so this time.
Didn’t see another person. I’m ok with that. Didn't even hear any A-10s doing gun runs in the distance. I did notice two things, even with the sun out, it was so dark in spots i had to flip up my glasses while walking the trail. And that area is clean. No litter. None. Certainly the FFO reg helps with that.
