Floating down the river tomorrow hope what's left over wakes up, fishing has been slow somewhat this year not sure if it's coincedenal and related to paper mill mishap or not ,will let you know how it goes,

Good luck.
I fished it Tuesday just below Johnsonburg.
Despite a decent quill gordon hatch, very few fish rose.

About 5 pm, we started towards that next pool downstream.
And a heavy thunderstorm blew us off the water - and into the Brew Bank for the rest of the evening.
River was high and muddy the next morning and we left for more fishable water

It is definitely affected by the fish kill, there just aren't that many fish in there. Shame.

That was my thought too - albeit after only being able to fish it one afternoon for a few hours.
I caught one fish in the upper part of the pool that we were in - only thing I saw rise.
It was a decent brown of 18 inches

My buddy had 4-5 rising in lower part pool
And they all turned out to be freshly stocked rainbows.

Couple of other guys I now that fished it this year, reported pretty much the same results
