Fished from 2:30 -5:30 at the bottom of the stocked area. Mostly sunny and breezy, with caddis and some midges flying about. Only saw two rises during my jaunt. Rolled two in the first run, then moved down stream to some really fast runs. Took a couple where the whole creek poured out of a huge pool. Then went through some fast moving rips that were only around knee deep, but seemed to be loaded with trout. They were smacking a bh caddis pupa fished on short line. After bringing several to hand, I fished down to some slower water where I was not getting any action. Went back up through the same rips and rapids after changing flies and did better than the first try. By this time they were shaded which seemed to help. Simple fishing but requiring a good touch. Best fish were a pair of browns that went 15'', and everything went back in for another day. Nice confidence builder, even if they were just stockers. When in suburbia..........
