Worked a short day and started around 12:30 on the West Branch. The flow was nice; clear and well above average; the water temp still good at 67. Weather : bright sun and a breeze and cool for June. Missed the first four trout before landing a feisty brown in a skinny riffle. Took just about every fish from fast water, and pockets. Caddis and ant fished down with extra weight. No visible bug action, and I stayed till about 6:30, though I moved my truck and fished three different spots. Hooked 18-20 and landed about half that; decent outing for June on marginal freestone waters.
