This report is kind of a spill over from a thread on the warm water section.
Time fished 5-615 pm
Sunny with a nice breeze close to 80
Water dead clear and low; temp was 63 on my thermometer; which surprised me (thought it would be higher)
Hatches were negligible; some tan caddis and midges
Found myself working within a mi. or so of a stretch I used to fish when I was a Delco resident so gave it a shot despite being way tired.
Fished exclusively fast riffles and runs and the trout were pretty crafty. They have a kids contest here and I imagine after that it got pressured heavily every day thereafter. That said I hooked five and landed two nice fish a 14" brown being the best. Both hit a no.14 ant fished wet. A little slower than I hoped but still nice to see some trout in there and they fought extremely well.
