I arrived around 9:30 yesterday morning (Rain, sleet and show some sun). The water level was about 2.5 ft. I fished two sections, the first was about 1/2 mile below the Paradise, and the second was down below town. I spent just over an hour on each section. It was a little slow at first but it turned out to a good day. I end up with about 12 fish. The largest was 17" and I had at least 4 others that went 15"-16". I had a monster on that reacted like a salmon running up stream before it broke me off. It hand to be 20+ inches long. Most of the fish were taken on small scuds and midge larva. The strange thing was that 5 of these fish were Rainbows. I fish Spring Creek quit often and may be avg. 1 rainbow per trip.

WOW, that is a lot of Rainbows for Spring Creek!

joeinpa, Would you share your midge larva pattern? I've never used this on Spring, and would like to give it a try one winter day.
