Fished from Lamar to Bedford the last 4 days.
The weather could not have been nicer and the one bad day was'nt too bad either. (notice double rainbow)
I was surprised that the water level was not higher on Fishing Creek. I don't fish there very much but still looked low. I saw what looked like Beatis on Tuesday afternoon but did not see any risers there. Nymphing affair there.
Spring Creek had some midge activity. Wonder when the McCoy Dam section will be reopened?
Attention fisherman from the south and west- good news!
The freaking highway (I-99/220) is open northbound. No more 2 dot driving. You no longer have to go thru Port Matilda. It is not open southbound yet. At least you can get to the streams 15 minutes faster. Now if 22 were only complete.
