Headed out to central PA for a few days of fishing with the new found rain. The water will be fine this weekend, where I fished the water was not even off color nor did it even appear high. Streams should be great this weekend. Expect lots of leaves in the water this weekend.

Not much in the way of hatches, I did see a few grey caddis and olives but nothing at all to get excitied about. Saw a few rising in a small pool but could not manage any to hand there. (midge emergers) I only saw 3 fisherman the whole time and they were on private water. As always nice to get out, even if it was a nymphing affair. Tight lines, yall. Paul

Someday this trip will be alot nicer for us western PA folks once rt. 22 is complete. Making progress- but feels like it has been under construction for 10 years.

Forgot to mention something cool; as I started down the mountain into greater Altoona I saw a mile long train disappear and reappear several times (hidden by trees and fog).

Also, once I pass the Plank road exit I start to get excited cause I know I am getting close.
