Fished from about 10 until 1:30. Overcast with occasional rain, around 12 rain got hard, air temps were 50-65 degrees. Stream levels were perfect a little color and good flow. Saw a few quill Gordon’s and some midges, nothing rising, although I did see one rising the day before in same section.
I tried nymphs for a minute, then switched to streamers. First cast, boom a nice brown. That continued for the rest of the time I fished. I landed about a dozen browns, mostly between 10-12 inches, and one 10 inch brookie. All on an olive sculpin. A nice break from real life.
