Fished Cedar Run just down stream from the hatchery in Lamar. Overcast day, in the mid to low 50's. Rained early, but stopped mid morning. The stream was somewhat murky from run off but not too bad. I got to the stream around 12pm and fish were rising but few in numbers. Caught a couple on Blue Quill, but rises soon stopped around 1245. Switched to a bugger for the next hour due to lack of options on my vest, but did well.

Anxious for the hatches to come in full force! Being a bit of a newbie, I love the challenge of dries.

This is one of my first few posts, so hope it helps!

Cedar Run, downstream of Lamar.....do you mean Fishing Creek?

I stand corrected.....didn't know it was there. Class A, I think I've seen it and wondered about it.

Nice report Tricky. Thanks.
This thread, by the way, is a good example of why we respectfully request the name of the county fished for PA fishing reports. There's a bunch of "Cedar Runs" and without the county there'd be even greater confusion.

Be careful fishing that creek.

The section open to the public is very small. Most of it is owned by a certain fishing club most people hate with a passion.

Yup mostly all private waters (90% private 10% open to public). I actually got to fish some of the private waters when my brother dated the daughter of one of the owners. Its some beautiful water loaded with fish just sad no one can fish it. Lots of hatchery excapies on that creek.
