As someone who remembers the "Miracle on Ice," I have zero interest in watching professionals in the Olympics in any sport...

I like watching the best play the best, so I am happy to see the NHL players back in the Olympics. If you didn’t think the 2010 gold medal game was one of the best games ever, then I’m not sure what else there is to say.

Love the Winter Olympics. Olympic hockey these days, meh, not so much. Not a fan of the NHL players competing. Yes, they are the best of the best. That being said, in a few months or years, no one will remember who won hockey gold in 2026. 46 years later, most know and remember what happened in 1980.

Speaking of the Olympics, has anyone seen the cross country skier from Norway who is basically the Michael Phelps of cross country skiing (except maybe even more dominant)? He’s like a machine. Very impressive.

thanks, I have peacock for free though my Verizon cell. They are showing everything either live or on demand on Peacock. I had to watch the Superbowl on peacock as well.

I think the biathlon women are the best. Not only are they in superb physical condition but they can shoot too!
Regarding the cold winter I made the best of it and I pulled my skis out of the shed and really enjoyed getting back on the slopes. A ton of fun. Sorry now I hadn't gone for a few years.

My wife likes the figure skating.
And not having much else to do lately, I watched the couples competition with her.
The way they have to be precisely in sync with each other, made it worth watching IMO.
Team USA hockey team plays Denmark today.
But its televised on USA network again

Fished this past weekend with a little success.. Saturday was slow, had a few bites and landed one. Sunday was a skunk. Crazy how much ice was actually on the banks of creek I fished. In most places, I could stand on the ice shelf and fish no problem as it was 4-6" thick in places.
Cabin fever is debatably worse now, haha
