Checked out the Bushkill below 13th Street to see if there were many holdovers before the scheduled stocking. Water was low and fairly clear (lost my thermometer again), air temp was about 45 and it drizzled a little. Only managed two browns on woolie buggers, no risers although a few midges were in the air. I hadn't been there since July but was disappointed in the lack of action. I was the only person on the water.
Moved up to the SR area and spent about 45 minutes on the water near the upper bridge. A good BWO hatch came off about 1100 as the sun started coming out a little. Again, no risers. I managed one brown on a woolie worm. That wasn't too bad though, that is always a tough area for me. Again, nobody else there.
The water was lower than I expected after the rain we have been having lately.
