Water temp in the mid 40s
Air temp in the low 50s
Sunny
Gin-clear water
Fished from 11am to 3pm. Caught four nice browns in total. Three on a Perdigon nymph, and one on an olive Woolly Bugger.
Lots of bugs hatching – small stoneflies, midges, and size 12ish mayflies (not sure what kind) – but no surface activity. Tried blind-casting dries for a while but no luck.
Picture is of the largest one of the day. Caught in a shallow slow pool.
