Fished the FFO for the first time since stream improvement work last year. Fished hard for an hour or so, no luck. My son was getting bored so we headed upstream to a friend's property to look for some brookies-and found about 7 or 8, 1 or 2 wild, the rest stockies from his dad's hatchery. Nick hit the jackpot on one of the brood fish they put in each year -landing a 20" rainbow on an oregon cheese globug. Great fight and we're both still grinning from ear to ear! Will post photo as soon as I transfer it to computer.
