I wanted to fish Yellow today, but when I got there I didn't like the color of it. It was a dark mint green. Lots of bugs there, so it may have fished if I stayed.
Went to Bob's above the ATW from 3 till dark. The water wasn't nearly high as what I was expecting. While I was there it dropped at least 3 inches. There was some Quill Gordons? hatching and spinners at dusk. I couldn't get a good ID on the bugs for whatever reason, it didn't matter because a size 14 Adams did the trick for the few pods of risers that I found. I only caught Brookies on top and underneath, except for one 5" Rainbow. Where did that guy come from?
