Last night I fished Big Spring in the Heritage Area from 7:30-9. I managed four brookies in the Ditch on a yellow cressbug. All of them were less than 8" but they had beautiful colors. I missed about that many as well...There was one other gentleman there who also did well fishing below a strike indicator. Before leaving, I took a few casts below the dam with a rootbeer eztaz bugger tight to the undercuts as the light was fading. I managed a beautiful 13" rainbow and caight a brown of about the same size right before the bridge. Other than all of the muck on the surface by the dam, the water seemed to be in excellent shape considering what was in practice here in the past. You will work for your fish if you decide to make the trip as they are as spooky as all hell. Tight Lines
