Big Spring Creek, Cumberland co., 7/31/2016

Time: 7:30-8:45

Weather: Warm, a bit humid, around 80.

Water: Clear and ice cold as usual.

Hatches: Some caddis and midges.

Flies used: Sz16 scud and sz 16 cress bug.

Fish Caught: 6 bows under 10 inches, and 1 bow that was my biggest on Big Spring so far, a 16-17 inch rainbow. Beautiful fish taken on the scud.

Other: Saw 1 other guy on the stream, and he also caught a big bow on a parachute ant.

as I have to drive for either 90 minutes or near three hours, I always fell I miss the best of BSC.
