Fished the Big Pine yesterday, very cold and windy. Started at Blackwell, got 1 missed 5 or 6. Went down to Rattlesnake Rock, got 1 more. End up down at the DH area and got 5 more, missed 3 or 4. Caddis were bringing some fish to the suface but nothing to get excited about. All the fish I got were taken on BH pheasent tail. I think the fishing was getting better as the day went on, as the winds were letting up and the sun was warming up the water. I could only fish to 2:30 but I'm sure the best fishing was just starting.
