First time to this blue ribbon water. Started fishing the pocket pools around 10 AM (lower section). I saw many black stone flys on the rocks. Right around 11:30 after switching to a #22 brassie and pheasant tail nymph, I manged to land a 10 inch and 12 inch wild browns. I hooked up another that was a real football. He was a wise old fish obviously being caught before. He darted to the fast water before I had time to react and off he went. It started spitting rain/snow around 1:30. I had a few missed stikes up until then. My feet got cold. I caught the same tree twice on back casts and decided to call it a day. :-D
