I try my best to catch the grannom caddis hatch on fishing creek if I can, this year I should have been a few weeks late but thanks to a long winter I was spot on. Bugs were EVERYWHERE did see a few hendricksons and BWOS but the real spectical was the caddis. Despite the hatch I never do good on top during this one so my dry fly box never was opened. We caught fish pretty steadily in the morning and stopped around noon for a short lunch break, and it's just like they shut off. I did manage to get two more but it wasn't easy. The steam was in beautiful shape and was running with plenty of water. I don't get to go there often because it's a 2 hour drive but everytime I do I am glad I did.

Total fish count was 7 with 3 fish over 14 including a very nice 17" male that was sporting a small kype.
