Hit BFC yesterday for a full day trip. Got in around 9:00 to an overcast, drizzly day. Rain was off and on, but it warmed up by the time we left around 4:30.

Water was high and cloudy. Wading was very difficult- wading staff and studs an absolute necessity. There was a good amount of people for a Wednesday.

Bugs were hatching like crazy. What appeared to be Hendricksons and Black Stoneflies (size 12ish) were everywhere. Despite this, only saw a few risers.

Primarily nymphed but also did some dry dropper. They liked darker olive colored nymphs.

Fishing was tough, but between two of us we caught 5. Each of us caught a small Brookie and the remainder were Browns one of which was a beefy 14” variety.
