Big Buffalo, Perry County, 05/08/2011

Fished the Big Buffalo by the nursery from 5:30 till around 7:30, water was still high but visibility getting better. There were a couple hatches coming off including light cahills and even a sulfur or two but nothing coming up . Caught 8 stockers swinging march brown and cahill wets, felt especially good because there was a spin fisher using strung minnnies working the same water in front of me and didn’t see him catch anything.

Way to go......Good Job. Has the sportsman club stocked it yet? I live right along the Big Buffalo below where they stock

Don't know if the sportsmen stocked Big Buffalo yet but we ( Bloomfield ) stocked little J on Saturday. I usually go to where they didn't stock to stay away from the crowds. Are you down by Walnut Grove, that's one of my favorite spots?
