fished it today, 3/19, the delayed harvest section. caught 6 or seven. all on bead heades. fished from 12:30-3:00. nobody else there. there must have been 20 some fish gathered in this one deep hole. pretty much took anything I put on. good day to work on nymphs fishing. cold but a really fun time.

Man, I was gonna head out there yesterday, too! I've never fished it, but it's like 10 minutes from here. Good to know there are some fishys in it. I pass it every time I go to Cabela's but the parking and the posted signs everywhere kinda freak me out, so after 3 years of living here I still go up to my home streams up in the mountains. This year I want to explore that along with the Tully and the Schuylkills. Thanks for the report!

don't worry about the posted signs. there are signs rightnext to the posted signs that say fishing is allowed.

I fished Bear Creek last April just before opening day and there were plenty of stockies there. To my surprise though I caught more wild fish then stocked. kind of made me wonder. It's a nice stream, one of the few stocked streams I've ever fished.
