Allegheny River

Fished the Allegheny River below Tionesta and would like to thank BAM and Mr.Chunk for their idea of using a lead cone on my streamer. It really produced! I was able to get down deeper than normal right where the smallies were hanging out! The guys on this board are really full of great innovative ideas. This board really helps with my learning curve!

Nice report Walnutking - it's always good to see some warm water reports.

Here in Stream Reports, we seek to include some basic information about water and weather conditions etc. What did the river look like? Did you get a water temp?
Also, we ask for the date fished and county in the title line. I'm guessing this was Venango or Forest County? Do you remember the date? You don't have to tell us exactly where you fished and what flies you caught fish on but some general info including county makes these reports useful to our readership.
