Fished at the new CARP bridge on Friday during lunch time. You can actually get under it now with a fly rod. Water is low, warm and clear, but lots of fish. We've had a fair amount of rain over the last two weeks (thunderstorms) here in the north country, but it hasn't touched the watertable. I'd guess the water is around 65 degrees.....much warmer than expected, but the fish remain active. No hatch to speak of, but I landed 5 and quick released one using a small black dry fly #20 (black gnat maybe, not sure exactly). No hard hits, but the brown stockies are starting to get some nice color to them.
