A Z Lon Shortage

Was in a fly shop yesterday to pick up some Z Lon for a Caddis X trailing shuck.

Supposedly, production has stopped or no longer being made. There are some thread alternatives, but wanted to pass it along.

Anyone here anything on it?

Which one floats better Zlon or Antron?

Try Blue Ribbon Flies- they bought a huge supply of original Zelon years ago and dye their own

I frankly can’t tell the difference between Zylon and Antron and I don’t think that the trout care.

I use them interchangeably. Some say that Zelon "clumps" up more to look more like a shuck.
