Picked up this nearly pristine Hardy Marquis #6 with two extra spools, original cases, Hardy DT5F, WF5F, and what appears to be an old Orvis Wonderline (I wasn’t a fan) DT6F all with backing - all for less than the price of a new Lamson S series Remix 3-pack - I’m pretty sure they don’t have a lot of hard miles on them and have an heirloom amount of use left! I only had to remove the old grease, Qtip some of the nooks and crannies, re-grease the main stem, clean and stretch the flylines, add Amnesia nail knot leader butt with perfection loop and take these photos - I have several rods that will pair very nicely (especially my Sage RPL 586!) with this group - looking forward to getting out there with them! All I know about the Marquis is that when they were discontinued in the mid ‘90’s, there was less plastic than in the earlier models - it’s a fine reel in all respects and has that Hardy purr
