A Good Ol' Guy

Hi everyone, it's Timbo38 here as part of a group of 6 good old guys from North East Ohio. We are all pretty much retired and all went to grade school or high school together. Up until now, we have fished from a house we rented on the Little J for a few days every Spring and Fall for the last 20+ years. However, a recent change of ownership, and well....a new sheriff in town.......and I guess you know how that goes. So, we ae searching for a place to call our new headquarters a couple times a year. Actually, we never thought we'd need a different location, so, we are starting from scratch. We're pretty flexible, anywhere central PA or West would be great. I love the looks and size of this forum. and I hope I can contribute somewhere along the way.

Welcome from south central PA. I wouldn't call this area destination fishing but I'm close to the Yellow Breeches and some of the Cumberland Valley streams. As far as a place to land if you all camp Poe Paddy or Poe Valley state parks put you on Penns or pretty close to Penns. Poe Valley actually has a few cabins available but you'd have to book them pretty early. PA state parks allow booking up to 11 months in advance and many folks take advantage of that window.
