I tried the AI "proof ball" alternative that @ROVERT posted earlier this week. It said 10.5 inches. @HopBack and I both said 11 inches at the time I caught it (he might have said 12" but I did not think so) so not a bad estimate.

I caught two of the wild ST “one-percenters” in the stocked sections of Kettle this past week. One was 9”+ and the other 10.5”. Imagine how many more there will be around Pa with a 9” length limit😂. The word imagine as the root of the word imagination is the operative word here.

The coloring of brookie does appear sort of dull in that pic, prolly because it's a female. Either way, a quality brook trout!

Nice Brookie! I will say it looks similar to one my brother caught on Rattling in Dauphin County a few years ago where a fair number said “stocked”. Rattling has a lot of white sand.
Didn’t some on here say Brookies being stocked in Kettle?

I don't think brookies get stocked in Kettle by the State, but maybe clubs?
