These books are all in excellent condition, except for a small stain on the dust jacket of Caddisflies. If you’re a fly fisherman you already know of Gary LaFontaine, so I won’t belabor going into detail about him or his books.

3 of these books are signed (see pictures). In addition, I’ll include a small catalog from 2000 called the Book Mailer that Gary issued at the time that includes one of his flies. (He may have tied the fly, but it is not shown as such.)

I should also mention that 2 of these books, Challenge of the Trout and Fly Fishing the Mountain Lakes, also include my name on a small ownership sticker that I routinely put inside all of my books. I apparently forgot to put them on the other 3 LaFontaine books. (These adhesive stickers were hand drawn and produced for me by my wife, an artist, and show a jumping trout attempting to catch a mayfly in flight. - Thinking about it now, it’s ironic that I didn’t put that mayfly sticker on the book, Caddisflies! 😃).

I would prefer to sell all of these books together, to established members here, for $100.00, but I’d consider selling them separately. (Sometimes, persons join only to buy items here. I’ll sell these books to those individuals for $125.00). They can be picked up in the Lancaster, PA area, or I’ll ship them for the actual shipping cost, paid by PayPal.

Please send me a private message here to arrange purchase, or with any questions.

Thanks, John

I have 3 of the books. The fly that Gary included with one of the books was his pattern called the Airhead. I recall him passing along some Antron yarn also.

Nice collection. I was thinking hard about these, but I have spent quite a bit on books lately already. If Broodstock ends up with them they are going to a good home.

That is IF this isn't more AI from you 🤣

Fine books. (I have 4 of the 5; don't have mt. lakes). I hope B/stock enjoys them and profits from them if he buys them. They are well worth the asking price.
