fished at the damn, hoping to get a big bass or carp. But i guess the water was too cold for the bass today. And it was a good bit above normal flow. Fished for about an hour with a big white flesh fly the whole time, went across the dam and back. Only got one little bass, all well. Hopefully it'll be better next week with all these warm temps coming in.

i was getting a few nice smallies and some trout in the mix a few weeks ago, but the river just hasnt got back into shape yet (went thursday and clarity is at about 12") Hopefully with the warm up, we'll start to see more bug activiy too. usually (except last year) gets good caddis and sulphur hatch with the possiblity of getting lots of panfish, few smallies, and an occasional trout.
