Fished West Valley from about 6-7 Pm, Tried first a ant, and nothing, switched to Elk hair caddis and nothing then to a Griffiths Gnat and caught two nice rain bows one after another then i had to go, left the fish rising. Fished a Red Butt Sculpin for two casts and had a Real nice fish come after it and i missed him then lost the fly right after, That fly has been a real steady, fishing it real slow.

Valley Creek and West Valley Creek?
Are these two different streams?

What were the water conditions? Were there any hatches?

The water was very clear and low, I saw some caddis , but not many ,there was alot of gnats.

Steve Yes, these are two different streams. West Valley is primarily a stocked stream with a special regs. area on it and of course Valley is the one that flows through Valley Forge Park and is all wild fish with the entire stream being catch and release. W. Valley is off rt. 30 between Exton and Downingtown.
