4/3 WB Perkiomen & Perkiomen approved trout

started at the west branch in the morning. many bugs in the air. the most noticable was blue winged olives. nothing rising though. we had many strikes and got a few. all small wild browns. all quite welcome to come to hand! :-D as far as the main stem through the approved section, there just isnt many fish left. this trout season on open water has been lacking. lacking in fish and lacking in the spots they put them. so far i have been to six streams on the approved trout water list. 4 of them all the fish are at the bridges. 30% bigger doesnt mean they have 30% less spots to put them! say thanks again to the pennsylvania fish and bridge comm! 😎

anyways the west branch was beautiful and there are wild fish but in few numbers. if you go C&R! :-D
