Your most unique trout

Found one to share recently, this guy came from a small class I (Connecticut version of class A) stream. I believe this one is wild but can't say for sure, I've only caught brookies here previously.
For sure a wild tiger. Awesome catch!

That's no doubt a wild tiger trout. Congrats! It's a pretty one too.
I Was born in ct and lived there till i was 26. Then moved to pa 30 yrs ago lol lol and never looked back .....but i will tell you wild tigers wete quite common in the 80s especially in litchfield county where im from in ct

Interesting! This guy was in fact from Litchfield county. I moved up here for work a couple years ago. Enjoying what it has to offer but I'd almost always rather be fishing in PA 😄

Posting this so the OP digs out his double eye-spot photo too. Anyone have an idea how common this is or not? Common mutation to a certain population of trout, like a black squirrel? Inquiring minds wanna know... My first that I can remember and I am pretty old 😉

That's the same brown I caught. Compare the spot pattern on the gill plate. No doubt the same trout. Very cool! Multiple eye-spots are pretty rare. Was he caught at the spot with the big rocks where the creek bends?
Spot patterns remind me of fingerprints, they don't change.

Amazing, Jeff! Yes, that's him. He was not alone either.

I’ve caught several of them. Have pics somewhere. I think I had one with a triple spot one time. It’s uncommon, but not that uncommon is my assessment.

And also awesome we have another random identified and confirmed same fish caught by two members case.
