* There are only a couple wet flies in this entire collection that do not have a hackle; the Black Moose is one of them. This is curious since the hackle is normally such an integral wet fly component, even on sparsely dressed patterns.

Yes. In this case, Hairline yellow polypropylene yarn. Just stupid easy to tie and probably very effective, though I haven't fished it yet.
