Yep. That many flies would take me 2 year to tie!!! 🙂
You'd be surprised. Once you get in a groove with nymphs you can really crank them out!

If you don’t mind sharing, how long does it take you to tie one of these?
What size hooks are you using in these?View attachment 1641244669

Getting ready for fall with some nice new brushes I just got.
B10s hooks. Pretty sure both flies are #4 in front and #6 in back. Right around 3 inches total fly length. I think they should fish well. What size hooks are you using in these?
Can tie one up in 15 to 20 minutes, then 1/2 hr to trim and add eyes, but I normally putts around watching the tube when tying so probably a little over an hourIf you don’t mind sharing, how long does it take you to tie one of these?
Very nice - I'm impressed you can get the tying part of these bugs done in 15 minutes. I have so much trouble after the first stacks. Find it really hard to not catch the hair from the previous stacks once I move forward. And then whip finishing is always a nightmare.
A little tip,I often use a square piece of plastic bag with slice in it and hold it with a food saver clip😎, no more trapped hair. Just remove it b4 packing. So when I say 15 minutes, that’s when I’m on a task, when I’m putzing around, non attentive I can spend an hour trimmingVery nice - I'm impressed you can get the tying part of these bugs done in 15 minutes. Hard to see but plastic is in front of ears, and behind the bottom stack so it doesn’t muck up the ears, but I use it after pretty much every section😎A little tip,I often use a square piece of plastic bag with slice in it and hold it with a food saver clip😎, no more trapped hair.
