Hi all,
I will find myself near this area the upcoming weekend near rt 115, blakeslee. I see it's stocked and has some SMB. Worth it in this area? I will be staying on Lake Shangri-La is this lake good for bass?

Dear nymphingmaniac,

The lake will most likely be your best bet for fishing. Most Pocono development community lakes have fairly decent populations of bass and panfish. Depending on the community, they may also have jet skis and water skier's too, but the fish will still be there. Lake Shangri-La looks small enough that those two things probably won't be a concern. Kids canoeing or paddleboarding will be bigger issues!

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

thanks. Since I'm driving bringing gear is not an issue. It comes down to navigating time away from family to sneak in some time to get a few tugs- maximizing my chances and not wasting time beating poor water.
