Correct. Ed had Vince make an 8-ft 6wt, one piece. He eventually owned three of them.

They sound like nice rods. Besides the fact they were made by arguably the greatest rod builder of all time, any time a fisherman purchases or has 3 of the same rod made, it tells me it's something special.
