The comment period is open.

There’s a lot to digest here for those interested in the near-future of coastal striped bass management. To assist with this, if you are just skimming through the report and checking graphs, etc, you might miss the meaning of “Wave 1, Wave 2,” and so on. Understanding this is critical when reviewing/considering possible future regs.

Each wave is a 2 month period, starting with Wave 1 being the Jan-Feb period. There are 6 waves, ending with Wave 6 being Nov-Dec.
